The C Family -Sneak Peek! {Davis, California Family Photographer}

Time flies! I was blessed this morning to see and photograph a sweet friend from college. I also got to meet her two beautiful children for the first time. Isn't it amazing how quickly time can pass?! I met Lisa in my sorority in college and once we discovered we live nearby one another, we have tried to get together. But with the crazy schedules everyone has these days, we haven't connected in person in many years. But today we did, and I got to meet her beautiful children and catch up a bit. It had been far too long. Here is her sneak peek!

The D Family - For Dad, Minus Dad {Sacramento, California Family Photographer}

This is the beautiful D Family, minus their Daddy. Mom wanted to surprise Daddy with some Father's Day portraits and got everyone all dolled up for the shoot. We had a perfect day for photos and I love how they turned out. Daddy loved them, too! It makes my day when I get to hear reports like that. I am so blessed to be able to do this and help in making others feel beautiful and loved...because they are!

Beach Play for G Family - A Sneak Peek! {Sacramento, California Family Photographer}

You may recognize the mother in this beautiful family. She is a dear friend of mine and I have had the pleasure of photographing her before. Sweet Baby P Sneak Peek {Sacramento, California Newborn Photographer}

I had the sweet opportunity to photograph little newborn baby P with his parents this week. He wasn't officially due until the 23rd, but decided to join this world on June 9th instead! He is such a sweet, tiny bundle that I couldn't help but fall in love. He gave us such an easy time during the session...there was one prop that we were certain he was not fond of, but other than that, he was a dream. Here's his sneak peek!

For Dad {Sacramento, California Family Photographer}

I am a sentimental one. So I was honored and touched when asked to take some family photos for this beautiful family.  The moms from these two families are sisters and they wanted to do something special for their Dad for Father's Day. They wanted to get a photo with both sisters and their children in it. Now, that might not be too unusual, but, for some reason, these families don't like their photographs taken. I know, it's hard to believe since they are BEAUTIFUL!! Look at these women! Gorgeous. So, they bit the bullet and did it for Dad. Very sweet. They also got some of their individual families in while they were at it. I am sure their Dad will be overjoyed to receive such a wonderful and thoughtful gift of love.

Sneak Peek for the Beautiful F Family | Sacramento, California Family Photographer

You may recognize this fun and adorable family from my sweets blog. I posted a playful photo from their session for a challenge at I Heart Faces for their "Play" theme. (http://smileyssweetsandcreations.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-heart-faces-play.html) Mom contacted me and wanted some shots that show what a fun and loving family they are and I think we captured it! I loved working/playing with them for this session. It was both rewarding and joyful. I sure hope you love your sneak peek!

 

Beautiful M and a Walk to Remember

On Saturday, I had a fun opportunity to do the "I Heart Faces" Photo Walk with 26 other photographers from my area and some surrounding regions. We had such a fun time hitting some cool spots in Sacramento, chatting about photography, and photographing our beautiful model, Miss M. Here are some of my favorites.

This little sweetheart is just 7 days new! I had such a wonderful time photographing her and enjoying her sweet baby smell and softness. Mom and Dad are first time parents and are beaming brightly with love and pride in this very special gift. I hope that these photos make them smile even more! I look forward to watching you grow, sweet little Sophia!
